Wall Mount

Wall Mount

Just curious, what would I have to change code wise, if anything, to mount the base to the wall in front of me instead of the desktop?

Technically, you should be good with just rebinding the axes in the program/game you are using the throttle for to match your orientation.

You might get issues with the handle/upper platform drooping due to gravity, though, and so might need to adjust the spring specs.

Seems Legit. I actually received one spring that's a bit straighter than the others from McMaster-Carr, maybe it will be enough for the upper arm to compensate for gravity.

Will you still use the same handle type as with a horizontally mounted delta throttle? I may be over thinking this, but it seems that it could get uncomfortable if you need to make a 90 degree bend in the wrist to be able to grab the handle.

I'm looking into that, I may go with a Ball shaped handle instead but I'm not set on that, and I may print up one of these with some modification to connect horizontally. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:776116
Im also open to other ideas.

You're going to need to modify that grip extensively anyway if you want to use it, it is a decorative shifter knob and does not have provisions for running cables.
