Wouldn't the axial leg configuration be good for pillow block anchoring? Perhaps the other leg will need another leg configuration to be able to hold on properly to the pivot arm if printed parts are used.
If aluminium parts are used the axial straight short legs could probably be used. Then the pillow block's bearing bore could be extended outwards to cover and house the spring as well, if you follow how I think.
